We are seeking a Mental Healthcare Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality care to individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

Job Description:

  • Patient Assistance: Assist patients with daily tasks, promote independence, and encourage engagement in therapeutic activities.
  • Mood Monitoring: Observe patient behaviors and moods, document accurately, and report any changes to senior staff.
  • Conflict Resolution: Maintain a calm environment by managing challenging situations and assisting with de-escalation when needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, following individualized care plans to meet each patient's unique needs.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld in patient areas.

Required Skills:

  • Training: Mandatory Trainings, PMVA 3 day and PMVA Refresher.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with mental health needs or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Salary:$51,000 - $61,000 per annum
