Job Description

This role is perfect for someone passionate about helping others overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals. As a Health & Wellbeing Advisor, you will support participants in understanding their impairment and/or health condition, improving their wellbeing, and addressing barriers to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments, identify accurate starting points, and design action plans for learners.
  • Deliver group training on specific health wellbeing areas.
  • Provide one-to-one brief advice sessions, signposting participants to community programmes or services.
  • Develop relationships and referral pathways with local health and specialist providers.
  • Support operational teams through briefings and one-to-one support.
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 2 English and Maths qualification.
  • Competence and industry experience in the relevant sector.
  • An IEP L2 Sector Introduction would be desirable.
  • Taching/Coaching/Mentoring qualification and/or experience.
  • Previous experience working with individuals claiming income support and incapacity benefit.
  • Full UK driving license as travel is required.
