This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Advisor. As part of our pharmacy support colleagues, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient-centred care and providing expert advice on medications.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and efficient dispensing services while ensuring the safe supply of medicines. You will work closely with patients to understand their healthcare needs and provide tailored advice to empower them in managing their conditions.

You will be required to maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications and keep abreast of new developments in pharmacy practice. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues will enable you to deliver high-quality care and contribute to a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient-centred care by providing accurate and empathetic advice on medications.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure seamless dispensing services and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Engage with patients to promote health awareness and education, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be working towards and have completed the first year of an Mpharm course at university.
  • A Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
