About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Fairmont St. Andrews. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of exceptional.

You will be the face of our hotel, providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests, and will be responsible for handling all aspects of guest check-in, check-out, and requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check-in guests, respond to requests, and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience for our guests
  • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest's stay through up-selling
  • Ensure all guest information is correct and entered into Property Manager correctly
  • Perform a variety of administration tasks, including guest correspondence and reporting tasks
  • Actively promote the Fairmont Brand through adhering to our mission statement and values
Requirements
  • Service-focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Must be Eligible to work in the UK
