Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities in their home and schools.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess, develop, plan, and evaluate programmes of care to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to formulate, implement, and review person-centred care and support plans.
- Provide clinical expertise and advice to staff on aspects of behaviour, mental health, and learning disability.
- Safeguarding is a central element of this role, attending safeguarding supervision and training, addressing concerns with safeguarding leads, and recording concerns on electronic patient records.
