Support Individuals with Learning Disabilities as an Occupational Therapist

We seek a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing occupational therapy services to adults with learning disabilities in community settings.

This role involves working 28 hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours also considered.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To assess and treat individuals with learning disabilities in community settings and their own homes as part of the integrated BCP Adult Learning Disability Service.
  2. Design and implement occupational therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, taking into account their holistic requirements and environment.
  3. Establish effective communication channels with individuals with learning disabilities, utilizing suitable formats and visual aids whenever feasible.
  4. Assist individuals in developing essential skills and functions in occupational areas such as productivity, self-care, and leisure.

**Salary:** £25,670 - £31,383 per annum pro rata. Based on 28 hours per week and a full year's work, estimated annual salary: approximately £26,415 - £32,292.
