We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team at WhereToTalk, a thriving Church of England school in Bournemouth, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience working with young people and possess knowledge of CAMHS and local mental health services.
As a Counsellor at WhereToTalk, you will be responsible for providing specialist expertise in a role crucial to the smooth running of our academy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality counselling services to students, addressing their emotional and mental well-being needs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and teaching staff to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Collaborate with other professionals to deliver a comprehensive pastoral care system, promoting student welfare and academic success.
We offer a competitive salary range £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a generous employer pension contribution of 23% basic salary.
