Clinical Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead for the A&E department at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Ward Manager in leading and supervising a safe, high standard of nursing practice.
  2. Assist in developing good nursing practice ensuring it aligns with hospital policy.
  3. Establish effective communication systems with patients, carers, and staff.
  4. Monitor clerical and legal documents completed by ward staff.
  5. Participate in quality and risk management initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the NMC.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
