We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced person to join our Service full time. The banding, either 5 or 6 would be dependent on experience.

You will join our established team of Resuscitation Officers in delivering training, clinical support, and advice, on all aspects of basic and advanced life support and clinical skills across the Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be an active member of the resuscitation team and be expected to respond and attend to emergency calls as part of the adult, paediatric and trauma teams. You will deliver both basic and advanced life support training Trust wide. You will assist in auditing, and assist areas in setting up and maintaining emergency equipment as well as delivering local training as required.

The Resuscitation Officer will be a Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Operating Department Practitioner who has a clinical background in critical or emergency care. Ideally you will have experience with both adult and paediatric patients.

The resuscitation service also provides support on guidelines, equipment, conducts clinical audits and is involved in patient safety and quality improvement work streams. You will be required to lead on specific projects and therefore the ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently and keep to deadlines, is important.

You must be a Resuscitation Council UK ALS provider with Instructor Potential.
