South Scotland Funds Specialist Job Description

We are recruiting a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a South Scotland Funds Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a regional team and working closely with communities to design and implement community benefit arrangements that meet their needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of community benefit projects to achieve maximum impact and value for local communities
  • Facilitating collaboration between developers, transmission owners, local authorities, and communities to ensure effective communication and decision-making

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in community development and grant management, with excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills. They should also possess a strong understanding of business functions, including HR, finance, and information security.

The salary for this role is £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience, with benefits including 25 days annual leave plus 11 public holidays, pension scheme (up to 6% employer contribution), and death in service at 1 x salary.
