Haematology Consultant for Scotland

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist in Transfusion Medicine to join our team at the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS). As a key member of the SNBTS Clinical Laboratories and Clinical Apheresis Unit, you will be responsible for providing consultant-level support to these teams, as well as assisting SNBTS Transfusion Practitioners and Hospital Transfusion Committees in the Southeast of Scotland.
This role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must have a CCT qualification in Haematology or be included on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council within six months, as well as undergo a PVG Scheme check and provide a criminal record check if applicable. Estimated salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum based on location and expertise.
