About the Role:

NHS National Services Scotland seeks a skilled Consultant Haematologist to join the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) Patient Services Division.

As a key member of the team, you will provide consultant-level transfusion medicine support to the SNBTS Clinical Laboratories and Clinical Apheresis Unit.

Responsibilities include supporting the SNBTS Transfusion Practitioners and Hospital Transfusion Committees in the Southeast of Scotland, participating in the SNBTS National Consultant Rota for out-of-hours and daytime on-call duties.

Time will be allocated for continuing professional development, and maintenance of CPD compliance with the Royal College of Pathologists and full registration with the GMC is mandatory.
