We are seeking an experienced Community SACT Nurse to join our team at MediTalent Ltd. As a key member of our oncology service, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administering a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes.
  2. Maintaining professional standards of care, ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to patients' needs.
  3. Educating patients and their families about chemotherapy, its side effects, and post-treatment care.
  4. Preparing and maintaining clinical records of patient care, adhering to Nursing Midwifery Council standards.
  5. Monitoring patients for side effects and managing adverse reactions promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

  1. A Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  2. Post-registration experience in oncology or haematology, with training in chemotherapy administration and SACT.
  3. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for use.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and pleasant disposition.
