Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Community SACT Nurse to join our team at MediTalent Ltd. As a key member of our oncology service, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes.
- Maintaining professional standards of care, ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to patients' needs.
- Educating patients and their families about chemotherapy, its side effects, and post-treatment care.
- Preparing and maintaining clinical records of patient care, adhering to Nursing Midwifery Council standards.
- Monitoring patients for side effects and managing adverse reactions promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- A Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Post-registration experience in oncology or haematology, with training in chemotherapy administration and SACT.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for use.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and pleasant disposition.
