Community Fund Manager for South and South-West Scotland

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Funds Manager to support our team in delivering a portfolio of work in south and south-west Scotland.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to strengthen and grow our community funds practice and impact. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a regional team and working alongside communities to design and implement community benefit arrangements of diverse values and scales.
You will have a strong commitment to community-led approaches, excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Reporting to the Head of Communities, you will focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring that community views are appropriately considered at all stages of the development process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a regional team to deliver a portfolio of community funds work in south and south-west Scotland
- Work closely with communities to design and implement community benefit arrangements of diverse values and scales
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, developers, transmission owners, and East Lothian Council
- Ensure that community views are appropriately considered at all stages of the development process
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of working in a diverse range of community and funding contexts
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly
- A strong commitment to community-led approaches

- An estimated annual salary of £35,000 - £40,000 based on location and experience
