Job Overview

This role is for two permanent posts available as a Teacher of Severe and Profound Difficulties and Autism at Rutherglen High School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach students with additional support needs aged 11-18.
  • Provide an appropriate secondary education to young people with a wide range of additional support needs.
  • Work in smaller class settings with allocated support staff.
Requirements:
  • The successful candidate will be registered with GTC Scotland.
  • Able to apply online.
  • Familiarity with Scottish state school regulations.

The salary for this role is approximately £40,000 - £50,000 per year. This is based on the Main Grade Teacher Scale.
