Company Overview

The South Ayrshire Council seeks an experienced professional to assist in delivering the objectives of the ARIA Community Led Vision and Strategy. This role will involve working closely with the ARIA Fund Co-ordinator and Local Action Group to achieve project goals.

Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for setting up funds, promoting them to potential applicants, handling enquiries, assessing applications, managing claims and payments, and providing secretariat functions as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver community-led projects.
  • Assist in fund setup and promotion to potential applicants.
  • Handle inquiries and assess applications for funding.
  • Manage claims and payments for approved projects.
  • Provide secretariat support as needed.

Salary Details

This position is a temporary appointment until 31 March and offers a competitive hourly rate from £17.28 to £18.70 and an annual salary range of £31,000 to £34,000 (dependent on hours worked). The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly between home and the office, with varying frequency depending on service requirements.
