As the Thrive Service Manager at Redhall Walled Gardens, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards across the site and managing staff within the South West Welcome Team. You will oversee the provision of supportive environments for individuals to learn and practice skills in horticulture, promote routine building, physical activity, and teamwork.

The garden is open to the public and hosts local partner projects, which align with our mission to support mental health and wellbeing. In addition, you will line manage our SAMH Welcome Team Practitioners, working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the South West of Edinburgh to deliver short-term focused support for mental health challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing teams to ensure safe and effective support delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, contracts, and service specifications
  • Effective management of key stakeholders and external partnerships
  • Efficient resource management
  • Contributing to the achievement of SAMH strategic objectives

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager who can lead teams and relationships within networks to develop our Thrive Services. While horticultural experience is desirable, it is not necessary. What matters most is your ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve our shared goals.
