We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking an experienced Revenue Growth Strategist to lead the design and implementation of Council Tax and Business Rates projects.

About the Role

This permanent position, graded 5 (£40,221 - £48,474), offers a challenging opportunity to increase revenue collection and improve efficiencies through process redesign and software implementation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality change activities, including impact assessments, readiness assessments, communications, and training, as well as managing staff and project resources effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of local taxation law and practice
  • Proven project management and process redesign skills
  • Excellent written, communication, and customer service skills
  • Public presentation skills
  • Research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate strategy into practical business processes
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team and independently, managing unpredictable deadlines
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
