Senior Data Scientist Job Description

This challenging role involves leveraging data science expertise to drive business growth. The successful candidate will work closely with our client to develop a cutting-edge revenue management system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue management principles, including demand forecasting, optimisation, pricing strategies, and inventory management.

Key Requirements
  • Collaborate with fellow data scientists to develop a revenue management system.
  • Take charge of revenue forecasting and deliver insights to inform business decisions.
  • Design and implement algorithms for pricing strategies.
  • Execute comprehensive testing to evaluate the impact of recommendations.

Salary: £62,500 - £67,000 per annum.

Your Skills and Experience
  • A degree in a quantitative field (BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related disciplines).
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a proven track record in statistical modelling.
  • Expertise in forecasting and optimisation techniques.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industries such as airlines, hotels, retail, car rental, or e-commerce.
