Medical Receptionist

Lea Vale Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Ampthill branch surgery. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.
Main Responsibilities- Make appointments for patients to see GPs, nurses, or other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and practice staff to ensure seamless interactions.
- Provide patients with basic information and act as a resource for more complex inquiries.
- Operate our clinical computer system and maintain accurate data entry.
- Communicate with external agencies, such as transport and hospital services.
- Ability to work in a polite, confidential, and discreet manner, respecting patients at all times.
- Experience working with the general public, being sensitive and empathetic in all situations.
- Capable of remaining calm under pressure, with consistent accuracy and concentration.
- Strong IT and administration skills, with proficiency in Office 365 applications.
