Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Administrator to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our Health at Work team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer care and administrative support to our patients and employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide a high standard of customer care to employees, managers, and potential new customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a polite, sensitive, and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and confidential occupational health records using an electronic record-keeping system, inputting and accessing records as required.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with a range of employees and employers, both in person and over the phone, providing timely and accurate information as needed.
  • Event Planning: Participate in the promotion and delivery of wellbeing events and annual flu campaigns, including developing promotional materials and supporting the development of posters, leaflets, and intranet pages.
  • Training and Support: Assist in the local induction, training, and support of new employees in the Health at Work team.

Requirements:

  • Essential Criteria: Communicating clearly and effectively, answering telephone calls with care and efficiency, accurately inputting and accessing information electronically.
  • Desirable Criteria: Working in an Occupational Health setting, undertaking reception duties, arranging appointments, taking meeting notes, meeting deadlines and targets.
