Actemium Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled Business Unit Administrator to join our rapidly growing Mechanical Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the administration functions within the Business Unit, providing support to the Business Unit General Manager and the team to ensure the effective running of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the administration function within the Business Unit, providing an excellent and consistent administrative service to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Internal Control Manual and procedures, including Business Unit reporting obligations.
  • Liaise with the Business Unit Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform administrative and office duties to aid the smooth running of the Business Unit, including maintenance of Health & Safety records and monthly stock checks.
  • Support the Business Unit Finance Team with data recording, transactions, and year-end audit.
  • Assist with new starter paperwork, HR record maintenance, and tracking of annual leave/sickness within the Business Unit.
  • Provide HR support, including record updating and assisting with new starter paperwork.
  • Control office supplies and ordering, debtors support, and asset register control.

Requirements:

  • Strong Admin background with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • A well-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative but also be able to work effectively as part of a team.
