Actemium is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for the design, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components and equipment.

About the Role:

  • Design and fabricate mechanical components and equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Operate TIG welding equipment to join metal components together.
  • Inspect and test fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Time served experience in mechanical fabrication and welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of welding symbols and techniques.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Time served apprentice or equivalent qualification.
  • City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 or BTEC ONC equivalent qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in fabrication & Welding / Plating & Welding.
