Actemium Mechanical, specialists in bespoke design and fabrication of process-related projects, are seeking talented individuals to join their apprenticeship program.

As a General Welder Apprentice, you will develop skills in welding techniques, material preparation, and hazard identification, working towards a Level 2 Intermediate qualification.

Our apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, providing a solid foundation for a successful career in engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve quality standards in welding and inspection
  • Prepare and protect materials and work area for welding
  • Identify and understand welding defects and hazards
  • Develop planning and preparation skills for production and Continuing Professional Development
  • Ensure reliability and dependability in production, quality, and work ethics

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade 3 or above in English & Maths
  • Interest in Engineering
  • Focused and dedicated approach to learning and development
  • Creativity, boldness, curiosity, ambition, and commitment
