Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer Intern to contribute to our team specializing in Engineering for our Power Systems Business Segment. During your placement, you will gain hands-on experience in assessing the durability of our components, systems, and products. This role involves working with state-of-the-art test facilities and collaborating with subject matter experts to design and conduct tests.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Assess the durability of our components, systems, and products to ensure they meet customer requirements.
- Measure and analyze data from engine test cells and field tests to determine the performance of our products.
- Work with advanced telemetry and instrumentation to define the durability of components and systems.
- Collaborate with global teams to communicate test results and enhance your skills in engineering mechanics, digital signal processing, and CAD.
- Develop your skills in practical instrumentation, rig building, and data analysis.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for engineering and a STEM-related degree.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to develop your skillset.
- Good data analysis skills to support test results.
