Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

**Job Title:** Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist
At Northampton Business Directory, we are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team based in Daventry. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment, and building services.
- Identify and manage risks to our clients through equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment, liaising with clients on any requests for certain machinery PPMs.
- Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
- Write and follow risk assessments and be available to answer any questions or issues that arise from them safely and accurately.
- Work on motors, gearboxes, valves, encompassing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM maintenance system.
- Liaise with onsite site services to manage any building services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
- Be the responsible person when required for the department and deputise the shift leader during annual leave or sickness.
- Work overtime as and when the business requires, including nights and weekends, with minimal notice given.
