Our client, a leading Facilities and maintenance company operating in various commercial sectors, is seeking experienced electrical and mechanical maintenance engineers to join their mobile teams near Daventry.

Key Details:
  • Salary: £25 per hour
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

This role involves working on multiple sites across the UK, with a focus on maintaining mechanical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including PPMs (Predictive Maintenance), AHUs, FCUs, and other mechanical duties as required
  2. Ensure all work is completed in line with task schedules and industry best practices
  3. Monitor and maintain site compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
  4. Daily monitoring and management of main plant and equipment within buildings
  5. Foster effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors
  6. Maintain a professional image at all times and promote services to clients
  7. Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring they comply with contractual commitments and site processes
  8. Manage the site logbook system and ensure all paperwork is up-to-date
  9. Oversee CAFM and Concept systems, ensuring PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA
  10. Resolve client issues effectively, without disrupting business or compromising relationships

The successful candidate will be prepared to participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency response and have experience working within commercial sites and buildings. Plumbing or mechanical qualifications are essential, along with a valid driving licence. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
