Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled pharmacist to fill a Band 6 Foundation Pharmacist position in Banbury. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist or someone looking to transition into a hospital pharmacy career.

About the Job

The selected candidate will have the chance to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. They will be responsible for applying pharmaceutical knowledge across various specialties, building confidence through formal and informal learning, and rotating through acute clinical settings to support patient treatment.

Key Requirements
  • Education and Registration: Masters Degree (4 year MPharm or equivalent) in Pharmacy and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Clinical Experience: Application of pharmacy knowledge to benefit patient care, medication reconciliation at transfer of care, and working with other healthcare professionals.
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptable and resilient, organised and methodical approach, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to travel to all sites using public transport.
Benefits and Opportunities
