Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our team at Hightown Surgery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have post-qualification experience in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or general practice pharmacy/dispensing. They should be able to work effectively within an integrated multi-skilled team and have the ability to use their own judgement, resourcefulness, and common sense.

This role involves supporting the clinical pharmacists with medicines reconciliation and optimisation, as well as dealing with medication queries and providing patient information leaflets. The successful candidate will also assist in the submission of claims for personally administered drugs and take a proactive approach to the safe handling of prescriptions.
