Clinical Pharmacy Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and leading a team of pharmacy technicians to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of pharmacy services.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to ward-based technicians on pharmacy practice, policy, and procedure.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy services, including workflow redesign and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including budget monitoring and financial analysis.
- Participating in performance improvement activities, such as audits and quality improvement projects.
- Collaborating with other departments and teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Staying up-to-date with current best practices and developments in pharmacy, including regulatory requirements and clinical guidelines.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified pharmacist or registered pharmacy technician with relevant post-registration experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy setting, with knowledge of pharmacy practice and policy.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to use software applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
