About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to play a crucial role in patient care at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist, you will provide a ward-based clinical pharmacy service, participating in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and other activities to provide pharmaceutical advice to prescribers and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide individual prescription review and confirm patient medication history
  2. Offer advice on dosage, side-effects, cautions, and monitoring required
  3. Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and other activities to provide pharmaceutical advice

Qualifications and Experience

  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Qualified to Masters Degree level (MPharm or equivalent)
  • Hospital experience is preferable but not essential
