About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant Administrator to join our team at VolkerStevin. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for assisting the Procurement Manager with various administrative tasks related to plant hire and procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain accurate records of supplier insurances, accreditations, policies, audit documentation, and rate cards
  • Rundown and review supplier credit reports
  • Take meeting notes, file, and distribute accordingly
  • Record supplier spend and maintenance of plant benchmarking documents
  • Complete order uplifts for hired-in plant and equipment
  • Rundown and check reports within the 4PS hire system
  • Track supplier key performance indicators
  • Support collation of client audit documentation
  • Assist in onboarding new plant suppliers and maintenance of the preferred supplier list
  • Contribute to month-end preparations and live hire reports

The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience, excellent organizational and timekeeping skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and experience of prioritizing a varied workload.
