Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Community Sensory Worker to join our team in Powys, Mid Wales. As a key member of our Community Service team, you will provide customized, responsive, and high-quality support to individuals with sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and/or learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care
• Accompany individuals on appointments, shopping trips, and community activities
• Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
• Travel around Powys and Mid Wales using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle
  • BSL skills or willingness to learn
  • Experience working with individuals with sensory impairments and/or complex disabilities
  • Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments/learning difficulties (desired)
