Job Description

Powys County Council's Highways Development Control team is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Development Officer.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessing planning consultations from local planning authorities.
  • Providing feedback to developers and agents to support planning consent decisions.
  • Working with specialist colleagues to ensure all relevant aspects are considered.
  • Supporting the implementation of highway works after planning consent has been granted.
About the Position

This role plays a critical part in the team, acting as the main point of contact on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of planning and highway-related processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in your approach to duties.
