Medical Assessor

The role of a Functional Assessor requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and communication skills. As a qualified nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist or paramedic, you will work with patients to assess their functional capacity and provide recommendations for their care.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' functional capacity, taking into account their medical history, current condition, and any relevant documentation

• Developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals

• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments and treatment plans

• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination

• Staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in functional assessment and rehabilitation

• Working to meet productivity and quality standards, while maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction and care
