Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join our team at The AA. As a Claims Administrator, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our claims handling system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming physical post and emails, accurately recording them in the claim file.
  • Process outgoing physical mail, ensuring it is dispatched via Royal Mail using the correct class.
  • Frank outgoing post, ensuring it is appropriately stamped and dispatched.
  • Manage recorded delivery letters, meticulously tracking their receipt and distribution.
  • Oversee the central claims email inbox, promptly addressing inquiries and ensuring timely responses.
  • Scan and accurately index incoming physical mail.
  • Process outgoing cheques, adhering to established procedures and accuracy standards.
Requirements
  • Previous administration experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working in an office environment is preferable but not essential.
  • Effective communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written communication.
  • Attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and meticulousness.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in using PCs and good administrative skills.
  • Adaptability and ownership, with a willingness to take on increased responsibility when necessary.
