Railway Maintenance Expert

We are seeking a skilled Railway Maintenance Expert to join our team at Belmond Management Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our train by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various components.
You will have a deep understanding of train engineering, safety protocols, and mechanical and electrical systems. Your expertise will enable you to monitor the performance of the train while in operation and rectify any defects as they arise.
The ideal candidate will possess a railway apprenticeship or other recognised apprenticeship to technician standard for fault finding and rectification. You will also have knowledge of railway safety regulations, including appropriate elements of the rule book, Heritage Railway Industry Standards, electricity at work, etc.
As a Railway Maintenance Expert, you will report to the Fleet Maintenance Manager and be part of a team that is passionate about excellence and storytelling in travel. We offer a competitive salary and bonus scheme, as well as a range of benefits, including:
