About the Role:
- Maintain and repair railway tracks, including inspecting and testing rails for damage or deterioration.
- Operate track maintenance equipment and tools, prioritizing work and organizing materials and staff as needed.
- Assist with site surveys and ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in track maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of railway track systems, components, and inspection procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting heavy objects, and working in physical positions.
Salary: £21 Per hour + Holiday pay
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with regular hours, including nights and days.
- Work primarily outdoors on railway tracks, exposing potential hazards such as noise and fumes.
