Railway Plant Maintenance Specialist

Colas Rail UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Railway Plant Maintenance Specialist to join their team. This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work safely, efficiently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As a Railway Plant Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of railway plant, including cranes, track relaying machines, and other equipment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition, meets safety standards, and is ready for operation at all times.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have relevant technical skills and qualifications, including a minimum NVQ level 3 in mechanical, hydraulic, or electronic engineering, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Colas Rail UK offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including 26 days annual leave, industry-leading life assurance, healthcare cash plan, wellbeing employee assistant programme, pension scheme, eye care vouchers, long service award, season ticket loan, and occupational health service.
