Railway Vehicle Safety Inspector

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Railway Vehicle Safety Inspector to join our team in South East London. This is a long-term contract position with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
As a Railway Vehicle Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that rolling stock fleets are safe for operation. You will work as part of a team at a live rail depot, carrying out routine maintenance tasks from written instructions and using computer-based asset management systems to record work completed.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with rolling stock and knowledge of mechanical systems. A recognised apprenticeship or level 3 NVQ equivalent in an Engineering discipline is the minimum requirement for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in railway maintenance. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £19.72 per hour PAYE / £25.10 umbrella, depending on experience and qualifications.
