About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you join our team as a Railway Maintenance Specialist, based at our Willesden depot. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Aventra Units, working closely with our maintenance teams to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including fault finding electrically and mechanically, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. We're looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, able to work under their own initiative, and has a practical hands-on approach to problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Undertake routine maintenance and repair tasks on Aventra Units, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any defects or areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  4. Produce comprehensive reports on fault finding investigations and potential improvements.
  5. Support the coaching of staff in good working practices and quality standards.
