Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Film Liaison Officer to join our Events and Film Office Service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established team responsible for setting up and delivering a film office function for Neath Port Talbot.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the use of Council land for filming, liaising with production companies and other enquirers, and coordinating enquiries and liaising with relevant departments/external partners where needed.

This role involves administrative tasks such as location hire fees, issuing agreements, and monitoring arrangements in relation to the Film Office's activity. A key purpose of this role is to generate significant revenue for the Council through effective marketing and negotiation of filming opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A broad understanding of the film industry and what is needed for a successful location shoot;
  • Experience of marketing products or services;
  • Experience of working in partnership to achieve common aims;
  • Educated to foundation degree/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline;
