We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our Employment department and contribute to our continued success.
**Position Overview**: The Business and HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting both the business operations and human resources functions of our firm. This position requires an with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage various administrative tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Human Resources Support**:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Support HR initiatives such as performance evaluations, employee engagement activities, and benefits administration.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide assistance with HR-related matters.
- **Administrative Assistance**:
- Provide general administrative support to the office, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects to support the efficient functioning of the business.
- **Business Operations**:
- Assist with the implementation of business processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support business development initiatives, including client relationship management and marketing activities.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of office systems, including databases and filing systems.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff when required.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders.
Pay: £11.44-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
