Job Overview

We are seeking a Third Party Risk Manager to join our team in the Whiteley area. This high-growth business in the Insurance sector requires an individual with substantial experience in conducting risk assessments and audits on suppliers, vendors, and partners.

Your Role:
  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments and checks on third-party vendors and suppliers, identifying potential data privacy, cybersecurity or financial health-related risks and determining their impact on the business.
  2. Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and requirements governing the implementation of the TPRM Framework and policies, including those relating to onboarding and offboarding. Support the development of exit plans for potential needs in cases of contract termination.
  3. Oversee third-party performance and compliance against contractual obligations, including SLAs and controls, while tracking potential and ongoing third-party risks. Provide regular reported updates to senior management and maintain all required information on a database of third-party risk assessments and performance metrics.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulations such as DORA and GDPR, as well as industry standards, by conducting regular audits and assessments. Collaborate with the legal teams to ensure that all vendor contracts include relevant information and narrative about risk and security clauses.
  5. Investigate third-party related incidents and update incident response plans as needed in relation to this.
  6. Support third-party vendors to address identified risks and ensure appropriate action has been taken. Implement risk mitigation strategies and escalate any critical risks.
  7. Serve as a key point of contact and liaison for third-party vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication regarding risks at all times.
  8. Possess substantial experience conducting risk assessments and audits on suppliers, vendors, and partners.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in risk management and a keen eye for detail. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package, including a strong holiday allocation, pension, and other rewards.
