Job Description

A high-growth business in the insurance sector is seeking a skilled Third-Party Risk Manager to join its team in Whiteley. With excellent growth plans for the near future, this leading business requires an expert to detect and analyse all related risks from current and potential vendors, suppliers, and partners.

Your Role:

  • Undertake thorough risk assessments and checks on third-party vendors and suppliers, identifying potential data privacy, cybersecurity, or financial health-related risks and determining their impact on the business.
  • Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and requirements governing the implementing of the TPRM Framework and policies, including those relating to onboarding and offboarding.
  • Oversee third-party performance and compliance against contractual obligations, including SLAs and controls, while tracking potential and ongoing third-party risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as DORA and GDPR, conducting regular audits and assessments, and collaborating with legal teams to ensure vendor contracts include relevant information and narrative about risk and security clauses.
  • Investigate third-party-related incidents, updating incident response plans as needed, and support third-party vendors to address identified risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact and liaison for third-party vendors and stakeholders, maintaining effective communication regarding risks at all times.
