Procurement Specialist

Join a dynamic team as a Procurement Specialist and contribute to the success of our UK & Europe Group. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for activities spanning the entire procurement cycle, including negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitation packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiation of terms and conditions, subcontract administration, issue resolution, and closeout activities.
We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits such as contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance, and 33 days annual leave.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on various types of subcontracts, interface with internal customers, other functional support staff, and suppliers, and develop your skills in organizational, written and oral communication, time management, and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities:
- Negotiates NDA's and Teaming Agreements
- Creates moderate to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with Leidos processes and procedures
- Evaluates supplier proposal responses
- Conducts price and cost analysis
- Negotiates pricing and terms/conditions with subcontractors
- Administers subcontracts of various types and complexity
- Identifies and resolves moderate issues and problems on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management
- Performs subcontract close-out activities
- Analyse risks and identify risk mitigation
- Acts as primary interface between subcontractors and the programs being supported for all subcontracts related issues
- Regularly interacts with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required
