As a Foreman / Woman, you'll be crucial in coordinating and overseeing the execution of complex marine refurbishments on a global scale. Working closely with Project Managers and Installation Supervisors, you'll lead project planning, implementation, and quality control. **This role involves traveling to multiple overseas projects, totalling 3-5 months annually.**

Your role will be essential in ensuring successful project execution, contributing significantly to our organisation's growth and global reputation.

Our projects take us to various shipyards and vessels across the world and **this role will have a significant element of onsite working in shipyards and vessels worldwide. Due to the nature of this role, there will be a projected uplift of around 30% on top of the standard salary for additional working time spent away.**

**What are we looking for**:

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Site/Construction environment.
- Proficiency in supervising and motivating diverse teams across various trades.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with contractors, co-workers, managers, and clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated experience with IT systems, including Microsoft suite.
- Enthusiasm to comprehend and implement Health and Safety regulations.
- Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
- Background in interior outfitting, joinery, engineering studies, or a relevant trade.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough site surveys before and after contract award, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
- Take an integral part in identifying required materials and tooling
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Installation Supervisor to take a leadership role during on-site project delivery, with a keen emphasis on health and safety compliance and quality assurance.
- Provide guidance and expertise to the team regarding optimal installation methods and processes during quoting, planning, and execution phases.
- Allocate tasks and diligently monitor progress, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information, tools, and materials to assigned team members and specialist trades
- Liaise with Logistics and Procurement departments to offer input on priority requirements.
- Identify and communicate any potential risks, concerns, or delays to the Project Manager or Installation Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to assess on-site labour levels and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Undertake other duties as directed by your line manager or designee.

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience**:

- Capability to read and comprehend manufacturing drawings and ship general arrangements.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience in team management.
- Proficiency in creating technical sketches and hand drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
