About the Role

Net Recruit is partnering with a high-growth business seeking an Information Risk Manager in the Whiteley area. This is an excellent opportunity for a risk management professional to take on a vital role in ensuring the company's information security.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and analyze potential risks, including data privacy, information security, and system-related threats, using GAP analysis to investigate these and determining recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate risks in collaboration with IT teams and other business units, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Develop security of information policies and procedures for the business and its employees to follow, conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the delivery of risk awareness training programs across the business for all relevant employees, promoting a continuous environment where security awareness is a top priority.
  • Provide regular reporting for senior management professionals on the status and progress of risks and strategies to mitigate them.
  • Evaluate the business's alignment with risk management policies and objectives, ensuring cohesion between risk management and business strategy.
  • Engage with stakeholders affected by risks and prevention strategies to ensure a comprehensive understanding of these risks and controls.
