Programme Delivery Specialist

In this exciting role as Programme Delivery Specialist at Leidos, you will play a pivotal part in delivering software development projects that support the wider IT Infrastructure and business applications services for NATS and Scottish Government.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and experience in managing multiple small projects of varying timescales and value (£1k to £10m) while leading a cross-functional team to deliver against programme commitments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing robust plans to meet programme and customer commitments
- Tracking performance against plan, identifying and executing plans to mitigate blockers
- Managing Risks, Issues and Opportunities
- Effectively communicating status to programme leadership
- Mobilising, delivering and handing over projects to BAU
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of successfully managing multiple small projects/programmes
- Strong interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to engage effectively within a multi-functional programme team comprising both customer, supplier and Leidos staff
- A sound understanding of business, finance and personnel management techniques
- The ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively at all levels
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits including:
