About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Services Team Member at Park Parade Surgery.

Job Summary

As a Patient Services Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Booking appointments and managing patient schedules
  • Entering patient information into our IT system
  • Directing patients to the correct areas of the surgery
  • Answering phone calls and responding to patient queries
  • Performing administrative tasks to support the medical team
Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Services Team Member, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with changing policies and procedures, and adapting to new technologies and systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or administrative setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
